Project Overview
To enhance CCleaner's brand cohesiveness, we defined the brand guidelines in collaboration with the Creative Director. We assembled a document outlining CCleaner's brand strategy and visual guidelines, which served as the foundation for updating webpage designs and establishing a web design system.
My Contributions
Throughout this project, I played a significant role in refreshing the UI visuals and illustrations. Using Figma, I collaborated with the Senior Designer to develop the core of our design system. We created a modular system that allowed the marketing team to rearrange webpage sections to align with business goals and enhance conversion. I led the production process for specific pages, including prototyping and testing, ensuring designs were responsive to both desktop and mobile platforms.

Our Approach
Two years prior to CCleaner becoming a part of Gendigital, we took the initiative to organize the redesign process. For each webpage, we engaged in discussions with stakeholders across the company to identify each page's user flows, core content, and business goals. This information helped us prioritize pages and determine the order of redesign. We started by producing the base design for the top-priority pages and re-skinning outdated visuals.
After the merger, with the support of the Creative Director, we defined brand guidelines and initiated the redesign of webpages. We generated design variations and conducted AB testing to identify the pages that performed the best. While many pages are still a work in progress, our ongoing goal is to establish visual and brand consistency across all CCleaner touchpoints.

Example of Desktop modules with variants
As one of CCleaner's primary brand specialists, I was responsible for mapping out our experience blueprint. By reviewing the entire customer journey and touchpoints, we could identify brand inconsistencies and work towards more uniform messaging. After creating this blueprint, the senior designer and I reached out to various teams, initiated discussions, and worked towards making the right changes.
My Key takeways
This project demanded a robust workflow and a stable collaboration to meet design and business needs successfully. Through strong teamwork, we identified the best ways to document progress and share data, ensuring the entire organization could track the project from start to finish. As a three-person team, we maximized the tools and features offered by Figma to construct a cohesive design system, ultimately making future design processes more efficient.
